LAMBORGHINI FENOMENO: 20 YEARS OF LAMBORGHINI CENTRO STILE, PERFECTED

LAMBORGHINI FENOMENO: 20 YEARS OF LAMBORGHINI CENTRO STILE, PERFECTED

The Lamborghini Fenomeno is an ultra-exclusive hybrid hypercar limited to 29 units, unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August 2025 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Lamborghini Centro Stile. Beneath its carbon-sculpted exterior lies a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 835 CV, supplemented by three electric motors to deliver a combined system output of 1,080 CV, making it the most powerful V12 powertrain Lamborghini has ever put into production. From a standing start, the Fenomeno accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and exceeds a top speed of 340 km/h.

What makes the Lamborghini Fenomeno special?

The Fenomeno belongs to Lamborghini's "Few-Off" programme, a tier of ultra-limited commissions positioned above the standard model range and below one-off specials. Only 29 units will be built, each available through the brand's Ad Personam personalisation programme, which allows buyers to specify their own colour, material, and trim combinations in exhaustive detail. The car's name, "Fenomeno," translates as phenomenon in Italian, a word that fits both the performance figures and the occasion it marks.

Powertrain and hybrid architecture

The Fenomeno's drivetrain pairs the brand's iconic naturally aspirated V12 with a 7 kWh lithium-ion battery and three electric motor units. The hybrid system is designed for improved regenerative braking through a CCM-R Plus carbon ceramic braking system that captures energy under deceleration. This setup allows Lamborghini to maintain the visceral high-revving character that defines the V12 while adding the instant torque fill that electrification provides. The result is a car that feels sharper than any pure combustion Lamborghini, yet retains the theatrical soundtrack that buyers in this segment demand.

Design: Y-lights, long tail, and a button-free cabin

The Fenomeno's exterior draws on the long-tail silhouette of the Essenza SCV12 track car, with signature Y-shaped LED lights at both ends and aerodynamic interventions throughout. An S-Duct at the front reduces drag, a concave roof profile improves air management over the body, and an omega-shaped active rear wing adjusts automatically to maintain stability at extreme speeds. Inside, the cabin eliminates physical buttons entirely in favour of three digital screens, with carbon fibre covering the majority of visible surfaces to reinforce the connection with Lamborghini's motorsport heritage. Racing-derived shocks with manual calibration allow track-day setup changes.
