What Is Runway on Rail?
Runway on Rail is a collection of approximately 30 meticulously designed pieces that fuse technical performance materials with avant-garde fashion aesthetics. The creative direction was led by Marcela Meignan in collaboration with Maria Buccellati, producing a lineup that is simultaneously sporty and sophisticated, designed to move freely between the world of motorsport and the runway without compromise.
The collection is rounded out by a partnership with Italian specialist Sidi Sport, contributing specialized motorcycle boots and sneakers that bring the same Italian performance engineering to footwear as the main collection brings to apparel. The result is a head-to-toe ensemble that speaks the language of speed and refined taste in equal measure.
Flavy Barla: The Face of TheArsenale's Vision
Model Flavy Barla was chosen to front the Runway on Rail campaign because her presence captures exactly what the collection represents: a natural authority at the intersection of physical confidence and contemporary style. Photographed by Yulia Goncharuk, with art direction by Pat Meignan and styling by Marcela Mayorga Meignan, the campaign was produced entirely within TheArsenale's Doha flagship, using the store's own environment of curated vehicles and design objects as backdrop.
The choice of setting is intentional. The Doha store is not simply a retail space: it is a living exhibition of the finest machines and design objects in the world, and Runway on Rail belongs in that same context.
The Doha Fashion Showcase
The full Runway on Rail collection was unveiled at the Doha Design District in a grand showcase that drew attention from across the Gulf region and beyond. Among the early admirers of the collection was Qatar's Princess Shaikha Almayassa Bint Hamad Al-Thani, whose interest further affirmed the collection's position as a serious force in the global luxury fashion landscape. The Doha Design District presentation was not simply a product launch: it was a statement of TheArsenale's ambition to occupy a leading position in the space where technology, mobility and fashion converge.
