The Seawolf X hybrid-electric catamaran from Rossinavi redefines what eco-conscious luxury yachting can look like, combining a 42.8-metre multihull platform with a sophisticated power management system that can reduce fuel consumption by up to 75% compared to a conventional yacht of similar displacement. Introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022 and delivered in 2024, the Seawolf X is Rossinavi's first multihull project and one of the most technically advanced hybrid catamarans to reach production.

The Seawolf X measures 42.84 metres overall with a 13.75-metre beam and a 1.85-metre draft, yielding a gross tonnage of 499 GT. It accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a 70-square-metre owner's cabin on the main deck forward. Performance figures are modest by monohull superyacht standards but appropriate for the platform: a top speed of 12 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots, and a maximum range of 5,400 nautical miles at 8 knots. The asking price is approximately 36,900,000 euros, reflecting the complexity of the hybrid engineering and the interior specification. Twin electric motors are powered by a 1.5 MW battery capacity capable of more than 24 hours of silent, vibration-free operation, while approximately 158 square metres of integrated solar panels supplement shore power and generator charging.
Hybrid-Electric Propulsion and Energy Modes
The Seawolf X operates across three distinct performance scenarios that maximise electric mode use. For day trips, the yacht can run 100% on battery power. Multi-day voyages target 90% electric propulsion, while transatlantic crossings operate at 80% electric. A hibernation mode minimises hotel load when moored and can feed surplus energy back to shore infrastructure. Full recharging takes approximately five hours, and the onboard AI system monitors guest patterns and advises crew on energy-efficient routing and resource planning, a genuine first for a production yacht of this size.
Interior Design and Leisure Amenities
New York-based design firm Meyer Davis created the Seawolf X interiors around the natural elements of sun, sea, and sand, producing a palette of warm neutrals and natural textures that feel both contemporary and relaxed. Key leisure features include a pool-centred cockpit, an expansive sundeck, and a bow area that conceals a second pool and a convertible home theatre.
