The Stone Island car built by TheArsenale Studio is an Audi RS6 wrapped in a bespoke Stone Island camouflage, created to run the 2018 Gumball 3000 rally. It pairs the brand's signature black and green camo, found on its limited high end garments, with the aggressive lines of one of the fastest performance wagons ever made, turning a track ready Audi into a rolling piece of fashion design.
What is the Stone Island Audi RS6?
Participating in the Gumball 3000 of 2018, our friends Mattia Rivetti and Lucas Buchert sat behind the wheel of an Audi RS6 covered in a Stone Island designed camouflage that can be found on some of the brand's limited, high end garments. The result is part race car, part wearable art object, a true Stone Island car that turns heads on every leg of the rally.
How was the Stone Island camouflage applied?
The black and green camouflage features modern detailing and accents adapted to the aggressive lines of the RS6. Morgan Grosset and Alain Reignoux were responsible for applying the paintwork to the car, making sure the high end graphic detailing aligned perfectly with the body panels. The result is a livery that flows with the wagon's surfaces rather than fighting them, exactly the kind of attention to material and finish that defines Stone Island as a brand.
