TARFORM IS PIONEERING TOMORROW'S RIDES WITH VERA

TARFORM IS PIONEERING TOMORROW'S RIDES WITH VERA - TheArsenale

The Tarform Vera electric motorcycle is a New York-built, zero-emissions two-wheeler that fuses performance, sustainable materials, and connected technology into a single machine. Starting at $18,000 for the standard edition (with the Launch Edition at $24,000), the Vera targets riders who want genuine urban and light off-road capability without compromising on design or ecological responsibility. It reaches 90 mph, hits 0 to 60 in around 3.3 seconds, and offers up to 100 miles of city range from an 8.2 kWh lithium-ion battery.

Tarform Vera: Performance Specifications

The Vera's air-cooled electric motor produces 59 hp and 96 lb-ft of torque, delivered through a gearbox-free direct belt drive for smooth, linear power at any speed. A lightweight aluminium chassis keeps total weight at 368 pounds (167 kg), giving the Vera a responsive, agile feel despite its real-world performance numbers. The 32.5-inch seat height and 56.5-inch wheelbase suit a wide range of rider sizes. Brembo M4 Monobloc brakes and Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres round out the handling package. The 8.2 kWh battery charges from 20 to 80 percent in approximately one hour and forty minutes on Level 2, as specified on Tarform's official website.

Technology and Connectivity

The Vera is built for the connected era: a 3.4-inch Retina display with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G connectivity serves as the rider's interface. Over-the-air software updates keep the bike current without a dealer visit, and keyless ignition removes a point of mechanical failure while simplifying the daily ownership routine. Regenerative braking recaptures energy on every deceleration, extending range in urban stop-start conditions. What Tesla achieved for cars, Tarform explicitly sets out to replicate for motorcycles: accessible, technology-first electric mobility with no stylistic compromise, according to CleanTechnica.

Sustainability at the Core

Beyond the electric powertrain, Tarform has built an entire philosophy around circular design principles. The Vera uses natural and bio-based materials wherever possible, with zero-waste manufacturing targets and full component recyclability at end of life. This approach distinguishes Tarform from competitors who pair an electric motor with a conventionally produced frame and body: the Vera treats sustainability as a design constraint from the first sketch, not as an afterthought. Deliveries of the Launch Edition begin in August 2026 from Tarform's Brooklyn studio.
