THE 1-OF-1 MANUAL VENOM F5 HYPERCAR IS A MASTERPIECE OF SPEED AND INNOVATION
The Hennessey Venom F5 has always stood as a statement of American hypercar ambition, and the one-of-one Venom F5 Revolution LF pushes that ambition further than any previous build from the Texas manufacturer. Unveiled at The Quail at Monterey Car Week on August 15, 2025, the LF is the first commission from Hennessey's newly established Maverick bespoke division: a program allowing a small number of clients to co-create their own unique Venom F5. With 2,031 bhp from its twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 Fury engine and an all-new six-speed gated manual transmission, it is simultaneously the most powerful and the most analog Venom F5 ever built.
Who Commissioned the Venom F5 Revolution LF?
The LF designation honors its commissioner, American entrepreneur Louis Florey, who personally specified every bespoke element of the car. The exterior is finished in Cocoa Brown exposed carbon fiber with a reshaped aerodynamic package including a new front splitter, dive planes, re-sculpted fender louvres, a rear deck with integrated lip spoiler, and a significantly taller rear wing. Inside, horology-inspired switchgear, a bolt-action parking brake, and a milled aluminum H-pattern shifter with tactile metallic gates bring watchmaking precision to the driving environment. Every surface, angle, and material was chosen by Florey in close collaboration with Hennessey's design and engineering teams.
What Makes a Manual Venom F5 So Significant?
In an era when virtually every hypercar relies on dual-clutch or sequential gearboxes, the six-speed gated manual in the Revolution LF is a deliberate choice to prioritize driver engagement over lap times. Hennessey re-engineered the XCell_2 carbon monocoque for improved ergonomics around the new transmission tunnel, and introduced mode-adaptive suspension calibrated to the different demands of road and track use. The result is a car that, in Hennessey's own words, is the most personal, driver-centric, analog, and engaging Venom F5 ever made.
The Maverick Division: Bespoke Hypercars on Demand
The Revolution LF launches the Maverick division as a platform for a select group of future clients to specify their own unique Venom F5 commissions. By combining cutting-edge materials, custom aerodynamics, and deeply personal interior choices, the Maverick program positions Hennessey alongside European coachbuilders as a credible destination for one-of-one American hypercars. The Venom F5 already targets a top speed in excess of 311 mph (500 km/h): the Revolution LF proves that raw performance and bespoke craftsmanship are not mutually exclusive.
