John DeLorean’s daughter, Kat DeLorean new firm unveiled the JZD. It is a design that was inspired by the DeLorean DMC-12.

DeLorean Reimagined, which unveiled the Alpha5 concept at the 2022 Pebble Beach event, is a distinct firm that is not associated with DeLorean Next Generation Motors.

The JZD borrows both its name and form from John Zachary DeLorean's first DMC-12. The modern fastback coupe has gullwing doors as required and a 2+2 cabin configuration.

DeLorean's daughter, Kat DeLorean Seymour, and a few of DMC's engineers are working on the project, which is currently in its very early phases.

The idea will be finished in January 2023, and the vehicle is anticipated to include an electric drivetrain. The public introduction will take place later that same year.
