The Lancia Stratos was a successful rally car and a thrilling drive on the road with a short wheelbase and mid-engine layout. Lancia's latest version, the Pu+Ra, is an electric vehicle with a smoother design inspired by the original's wedge shape by Marcello Gandini. The Pu+Ra combines the rear spoiler with round LED taillights and has a 2+2 configuration rear seat with a wraparound rear window.
The Pu+Ra's front end features a Y-shape design with exaggerated front fender flares that recall the original Stratos. The wheel design also follows this Y-shape pattern, a departure from the previous coffin-spoke wheels. The car's interior, designed in collaboration with Cassina, features two "tea tables" for front and rear passengers, drawing inspiration from Italian homes.
Lancia has not announced any plans for producing the Pu+Ra for public consumption. The car's impressive design and unique features make it a noteworthy contender in the world of electric vehicles. However, it remains to be seen if the Pu+Ra will make it into production and if it will live up to the legacy of the iconic Lancia Stratos.
