THE SPECTACULAR EVOLUTION OF ARES S1 - TheArsenale

The Ares S1 supercar has undergone a significant transformation, reinforcing its market presence with newfound allure and an even greater on-road presence. Ares Modena, the Italian manufacturer behind this remarkable automobile, is widely recognized for the impressive Panther ProgettoUno. They have been producing the S1 Supercar since October 2020, a model initially based around the first-ever mid-engine Corvette, the Chevrolet Corvette C8. Now, the S1 Supercar is available in two variants: Coupe and Speedster, the brand new hallmark feature being the optional Gullwing doors, which further enhance the car's aesthetic appeal and contribute to a more distinctive profile.

The Ares S1 isn't just about looks; it's a powerhouse of performance, too. The heart of the S1 is a naturally aspirated V8 engine that commands an impressive 715 horsepower and 969 Nm of torque. This powerhouse is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, collectively propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in a pulse-quickening 2.7 seconds. With these specifications, the Ares S1 reaches top speeds of nearly 300 km/h. Testament to its appeal, one of S1's 24 units (for the Coupe version) was acquired by noteworthy YouTuber, Supercar Blondie, renowned for reviewing the latest and most powerful cars on the market. She praised the S1 for offering hypercar performance at a significantly more accessible price point.

Interestingly, it was Supercar Blondie who suggested and initiated the Gullwing doors transformation for the original Ares S1, thereby providing a more sensational image and driving experience. Ares Modena has taken this idea a step further, now offering the Gullwing doors as an optional feature to the S1 Coupe. Moreover, to illustrate the exclusivity of this feature, Ares presents a limited edition of the Ares S1 Gullwing First Edition, available in only 20 units. The pricing specifics for the Gullwing door option and the Ares S1 Gullwing First Edition aren't detailed; however, the original Ares S1 was introduced at around $650,000 (approximately €500,000). Ultimately, the Ares S1 epitomizes a harmonious blend of power and elegance – a supercar that truly stands out.
