THE YEAR-ROUND SKI REVOLUTION HAS ARRIVED WITH SKWHEEL-ONE
The SKWHEEL-ONE is an electric all-terrain ski designed and hand-assembled in France that brings the carving sensation of alpine skiing to streets, trails, beaches, and slopes year-round. Powered by four brushless motors producing a combined 2,600 watts per ski, it reaches speeds of up to 80 km/h on private land and climbs slopes up to 30 degrees, making it one of the most capable personal mobility devices built around the skiing movement.
What Is the SKWHEEL-ONE?
The SKWHEEL-ONE replaces snow with wheels. A unique pivot system allows a 55-degree carving angle, replicating the edge-to-edge dynamics of skiing on groomed runs. Four brushless motors per ski deliver instant torque and precise speed control through a telescopic handheld remote with an LCD display showing speed, battery level, and riding mode. The system is IP64 water resistant, meaning it handles rain, mud, and wet surfaces without issue.
The result is a piece of equipment that can be ridden anywhere the ground is firm: urban streets, gravel paths, grass, sand, or snow. Heritage, the company behind the SKWHEEL-ONE, describes it as a way to turn the world into your personal slope.

Four Riding Modes and Up to 80 km/h
The SKWHEEL-ONE offers four progressive riding modes suited to different skill levels and environments. Urban mode caps speed at 25 km/h for city use. Intermediate mode unlocks 40 km/h for trail riding. Fast mode reaches 60 km/h, and Pro Rider mode opens the full 80 km/h potential on closed private terrain. The modes allow complete beginners to learn progressively while giving experienced riders genuine speed when conditions allow.
Dual braking combines electronic deceleration via the remote with a mechanical rear brake, giving the rider options for both gradual and emergency stops. All-terrain tires handle the surface transitions that are a natural part of riding across mixed ground.

Range, Battery, and Weight
Each ski weighs 12.5 kg and features a removable battery that provides up to 50 km of range at 25 km/h. A fast charge takes 2 hours and a standard charge 4 hours. Carrying a spare battery extends range further and keeps the fast-charge cycle short. The skis ship in a purpose-built suitcase-style transport system with a folding handle, making them practical to take on a ski trip, urban commute, or beach excursion without dedicated vehicle space.
As covered by New Atlas, the SKWHEEL-ONE is backed by a two-year warranty and French craftsmanship, with the full specification available on the SKWHEEL official website.
