The AMG Performance Luxury Audio is a handcrafted iXOOST high-fidelity sound system inspired by the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. It is the only speaker in the world to officially carry the AMG brand, delivering 360-degree sound through a 45-degree woven carbon fiber monocoque body and two original AMG GT exhausts.
The Origin
The AMG Performance Luxury Audio was born from a collaboration between Mercedes-AMG and Italian audio atelier iXOOST. It fuses German performance-engineering heritage with Italian artisanal craftsmanship, translating the visual language of the AMG GT Black Series into an object designed to sit at the heart of a collector's space.
The central body echoes the unmistakable hood structure of the AMG GT Black Series, and the original AMG GT exhausts are integrated on the sides as functional bass reflex ports. The result is not a decorated speaker but a genuine automotive-audio sculpture.
Materials
The monocoque body is woven from 45-degree carbon fiber, the same construction language used on high-performance AMG models. The AMG engine emblem is integrated into the front, and the exhausts are lifted directly from the AMG GT parts catalogue rather than replicated.
Every unit is hand-finished in Italy, employing the most advanced audio components alongside artisanal assembly. This is not a production speaker: it is an object built one at a time.
Performance
Audio is delivered through two front woofers, two front tweeters, and two side tweeters, with the active bass reflex handled by the original AMG GT exhausts for a true 360-degree soundstage. At the core sits a high-performance DSP (Digital Signal Processor) that refines any input received via Bluetooth 4.5 with aptX decoding or RCA. Total output reaches 250 RMS watts, tunable from a soft symphony to a full-throttle listening session.
