The Bad Winners Supersport Ducati 1000DS is a one off custom motorcycle built by Parisian workshop Bad Winners on a Ducati Supersport 1000DS base, reworked into a modern cafe racer with the workshop's signature blacked out aesthetic.
The Concept
Bad Winners is a Paris based custom motorcycle workshop founded by Walid Ben Lamine, known for reinterpreting Ducati, Triumph, BMW and Yamaha platforms into stripped down, performance oriented builds. This Ducati Supersport 1000DS is the workshop's take on the last of Ducati's air cooled Supersport series, a bike Bad Winners chose for its dry clutch, its exposed tubular trellis frame and its raw twin cylinder character.
The Build
Bad Winners strips the original Supersport fairings to expose the trellis frame, then integrates a custom bodywork silhouette that reads as pure cafe racer. The finish is the workshop's signature satin black on the tank and bodywork, with contrasting details that highlight the mechanical components. The Ducati L twin, its cylinder heads, the dry clutch and the Termignoni style exhaust are treated as design features rather than hidden behind panels.
