Gotham by Tamarit Motorcycles

The Gotham by Tamarit Motorcycles is a custom Triumph Bonneville 865 cafe racer built by Valencia-based Tamarit Workshop, pushing the Modern Classics concept further with a hand-built rear fender, Gullwing fairing, 16-inch wheels, and a full suite of bespoke modifications that make this machine road-legal across Europe.

The Concept

Tamarit Motorcycles has built its reputation on extracting the maximum personality from Triumph's classic twin-cylinder platform while keeping every build street-legal and genuinely rideable. Gotham is a distillation of that process: a machine that incorporates the lessons from every previous Tamarit project, bringing together modifications that proved themselves in earlier builds alongside one entirely new element created from scratch. The name fits. Gotham is dark, architectural, and precise, a motorcycle with the kind of visual authority that doesn't rely on bright colours or aggressive graphics to command attention.

The Build

The donor is a Triumph Bonneville 865cc with carburetor, producing 67 hp. The frame has been modified and the swingarm extended. Tamarit carried over their signature hollow section under the seat, which cleans the silhouette dramatically, and fitted 16-inch wheels front and rear, lowering the visual centre of gravity without compromising handling. The Gullwing windscreen fairing, first developed on an earlier Tamarit project of the same name, has been integrated here to give Gotham its distinctive front face. A new rear fender, fabricated entirely in-house from scratch, completes the silhouette and gives this build an identity separate from every other Tamarit motorcycle. The electronics run through a MOTOGADGET system with custom ECU remapping, and the exhaust note comes from ZARD Tiger 70 units. A handmade seat, KN power filters, custom aluminium triple clamp, Continental K112 tyres, and HAGON Nitro rear shock absorbers complete a build where no component was left in its original state.
