Hedley Studios Porsche 550 J - Official Electric Collector Car

The Hedley Studios Porsche 550 J is an officially licensed, hand-built electric collector car that reinterprets the legendary Porsche 550 Spyder.

Created at 80% scale in collaboration with Porsche, the 550 J was developed using original archive drawings and scans of cars held in the Porsche Corporate Archives in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. More than 1,300 components come together in a meticulously crafted machine, handmade in Oxfordshire, England.

Beneath its carbon fibre bodywork, a mid-mounted electric drivetrain brings the spirit of the original into a new era. A steel spaceframe chassis, twin trailing-arm front suspension and swing-axle rear suspension preserve its distinctive engineering character, complemented by Brembo disc brakes, Eibach springs and Bilstein dampers.

Only 250 examples will be produced worldwide. Finished in Porsche Fine Silver with a black leather interior as standard, the 550 J combines authentic Porsche emblems, a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel and a period-correct three-dial instrument panel.

Designed for adults to enjoy on private roads and tracks, the Porsche 550 J is both a driving experience and a collectible expression of Porsche racing heritage.

Optional RS Pack

The RS Pack increases output to 16 kW (21 hp), with a top speed of up to 80 km/h (50 mph)* and a range of up to 50 miles (approximately 80 km)**. It includes four 1.8 kWh lithium-ion battery packs (7.2 kWh total), painted Brembo callipers, drilled discs with sintered pads, adjustable Bilstein coilover dampers and a Race-Tex-inspired interior.
