Nardone 928 - Porsche 928 Restomod

The Nardone 928 is not a restoration, it is a reinvention: a modern Porsche 928 restomod by French house Nardone Automotive, dressed in a full carbon fiber body and powered by a bespoke 5.0L V8.

The Story

Channeling the daring spirit of Porsche's original transaxle grand tourer, Nardone Automotive has crafted a modern icon from a legend that was ahead of its time. The 928 that inspired it went into production in 1977 as Porsche's flagship GT; the Nardone 928 keeps that ambition but rebuilds every layer from the ground up, in France and Italy, with a French flair for elegance and Milanese design taste. This is a car that is commissioned, not bought.

Performance

At its core sits a completely reengineered 5.0L naturally aspirated V8, developed by Italtecnica, delivering over 450 hp and 522 Nm of torque at up to 7,400 rpm. It runs through a groundbreaking 6-speed manual gearbox (based on the original 5-speed housing) in a custom transaxle layout with mechanical LSD. Stainless-steel equal-length headers, motorsport-grade chassis wiring, Tractive electronically adjustable suspension, and Brembo 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers on 380/360 mm discs complete the mechanical package. Outside, the Milanese studio BorromeoDeSilva sculpted the new skin: sleek, wide, and aggressive, yet unmistakably elegant, with LED custom lighting, exposed carbon accents, and 18-inch forged manhole-style wheels. Inside, a bespoke 2+2 cockpit wraps the driver in Alcantara and Dani leather, billet aluminum touches, and a redesigned digital cluster that blends analog romance with digital precision.
