The Artist

Born in Medellin, Colombia and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Camilo Rios White built his reputation across a decade of fashion and car photography in Miami. Clients including The Webster, Del Toro, Cotton Citizen, Stella McCartney, OFFWHITE, ERES Paris, and L'Oreal found their photographic identity in his work. He is Founder and Creative Director of United Rivers and a founding partner of Toys for Boys Magazine. Shaped by the renegade boldness of Chris Von Wangenheim, Guy Bourdin, and Helmut Newton, Rios shoots outdoors, in real light, treating color as the fundamental material of every composition.

The Piece

Brown Turbo brings warmth and aggression together in a single frame. The turbo subject is rendered in earth tones that counter the typical chrome-and-black vocabulary of automotive photography, making this piece as much a color study as a car portrait. Printed on velvet/velore fabric, the warm browns and shadows take on a depth and richness beyond what any paper substrate can deliver. The print ships in a floating frame at 60 x 40 inches.
