ROUGE STRIPED BODY - THEARSENALE X FAITH CONNEXION, DOHA RUNWAY PIECE

The rouge striped body is a Doha runway piece from the collaboration between TheArsenale and the Paris fashion house Faith Connexion, a bodysuit that turns nautical stripes and racing red into a couture second skin.

The Collaboration

The bodysuit was designed for the Doha runway, a joint capsule between TheArsenale and Faith Connexion, the Paris label recognised for hand distressed pieces, rock inspired prints and heritage cuts favoured by musicians, athletes and creative directors. TheArsenale contributed its mobility and performance DNA, Faith Connexion contributed Parisian atelier finish, and the runway body sits at the intersection of the two universes.

Materials and Fit

The piece is built on a stretch cotton jersey printed with a vertical red and white stripe pattern that reads clean under runway lights and layers well on the street. The cut is a second skin bodysuit, long sleeves, high neckline and a snap crotch, engineered to be worn on its own on the runway or under an oversized parka, a jacket or a pair of technical leggings from the same Doha capsule. Runway units from this collection were produced in very limited numbers, which makes each body closer to a wearable collectible than a seasonal drop.
