Saint Martin Bicross Time Bike

The Saint Martin Bicross Time BMX bike is a one-off retro-modern BMX handmade in France, blending the visual language of 1970s classics with contemporary build quality.

The Concept

The bike is designed by Alain Massabova, drawing on 30 years of professional BMX riding, book publishing, and running a BMX store. Its silhouette traces the mythical lines of legendary Redline RL20 II and Hutch Trick Star bikes, an homage to the golden era of BMX, rebuilt with today's materials and tolerances.

The Build

The frame is hand-made in France by Pir Malo from US-sourced 4130 Chromoly, considered the reference alloy for premium BMX frames. Every station of the build follows a precise process, and each component is assembled with the level of attention normally reserved for one-off custom motorcycles. The result is a single unit, unique to its production.

The Ride

Wheels are classic 24 inch Skyway Tuff Wheel 2 mags, giving the bike a cruiser stance and a distinctive old-school silhouette. Odi mushroom grips sit on Radio handlebars, mounted to a Haro Bikes Dirt 24 inch chromoly fork. A two-piece chrome crank turns a Shimano hollow pin chain, driven by Wolf Trap style pedals, and stopping is handled by Dia-Compe alloy brakes and levers in a silver finish.
