Seabob F9 Titanium - Underwater Sea Scooter

The Seabob F9 is the latest underwater sea scooter from Seabob, unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival and co-designed with Studio F. A. Porsche for smooth surface runs and controlled dives down to 30 metres.

The Design

The F9 keeps Seabob's signature silhouette while tightening the hydrodynamics. It weighs just over 20 kilograms so a single rider can hand it into the water off a swim platform, and the digital thumb-operated accelerator gives fingertip control instead of a mechanical trigger. Normal and Dive modes shift throttle response for below-surface use, and Sports mode releases full 60 TP thrust for top-speed runs on the surface.

On the Water

The F9 delivers up to 60 minutes of autonomy and recharges in around 1.5 hours on quick charge, so a session can be repeated inside the same day. The chassis is built from titanium, magnesium and ceramic-coated components, engineered for durability in salt water and to keep the weight balance neutral once the scooter is trimmed. Newly developed stability tech dampens roll on the surface and holds a straight line at depth.
