The Valkyrie private aircraft is a five-seat piston single built in California by Centauri Aircraft (formerly Cobalt), inspired by classic fighter jets and delivered with clean lines, premium finishes, and understated elegance.

 

The Vision

Centauri Aircraft was created to bring fighter-jet DNA to civilian general aviation, with a strong bias for design, safety, and modern ownership. The Valkyrie is the flagship of that vision: a fast, comfortable, owner-flown single with the visual attitude of a warbird and the comforts of a grand tourer.

The Vision Realized

The Valkyrie exterior is available in a range of custom finishes, including dark colors that are notoriously harder to master on composites. Flight controls use full pushrod-bellcrank precision mechanisms, and the retractable landing gear is machined from solid high-performance alloys. The cabin is trimmed with premium hand-stitched leather seats, customizable platings, and bespoke trim materials, and comfortably seats five including the pilot, with room for golf clubs, skis, and full-size suitcases. The airframe is also topped by the largest one-piece canopy in the world, giving unrivaled visibility from every seat.

In the Air

The Valkyrie flies in a canard configuration, with a forewing that acts as an aerodynamic fuse to prevent stalls, a rare native safety advantage in this category. An airframe parachute is available as an option. Cruise speed reaches 250 kn (288 mph, 463 km/h), fuel capacity is 109 US gallons (413 L), and service ceiling is 25,000 ft (7,600 m), enough performance to make it a real cross-country tool rather than a weekend toy. Manufacturing is fully carried out in California to maintain quality control, delivery times, and modern customer service.
