Viks x TheArsenale GT

The Viks x TheArsenale GT is an exclusive one-off collaboration between Estonian maker Velonia and TheArsenale: a Viks Gran Turismo bicycle finished in full black with orange detailing, built around top-shelf components and a Gates Carbon Drive belt.

The Concept

The build started like every Viks, with a handmade frame. TheArsenale chose the GT frame for its aggressive silhouette inspired by Italian supercar design. The aluminium tubing was hand-bent into the unique shape that characterizes every Viks. The high-sitting saddle and low bars give the bike a very aggressive stance, so the collaboration doubled down on that character with a full black color layout and orange accents.

The Build

This special edition Viks GT runs the finest components on the shelf. A Gates Carbon Drive belt replaces the chain for reliable, low-maintenance power delivery, connected to a BLB Track crankset and a Shimano Square-Taper bottom bracket. Wide-profile BLB Notorious 90 rims are wrapped in Schwalbe Kojak tires for high-speed rolling on urban tarmac, and Shimano SLX Hydraulic disc brakes handle stopping duties front and rear.

The Ride

The Brooks England Cambium C15 saddle sits atop a BLB Track seatpost for a high, aggressive riding position that plays to the GT frame geometry. Moto Reflex pedals close out the contact points. The stealth all-black paint, orange highlights, and belt drive give this collaboration Viks a clean, monochrome silhouette that pairs perfectly with TheArsenale house aesthetic.
