The Wall Ride skateboard rack is a full size wall mounted display piece by Italian design studio Zanocchi & Starke, built to hang a deck with pride while doubling as everyday storage.
The Origin
Zanocchi & Starke is a multidisciplinary design and architecture studio founded in 2013 in Torino by Italian architect Andrea Zanocchi and Brazilian product designer Carolina Starke. Their work is born from a shared obsession with the daily interaction between people and objects, and a love of combining artisanal and industrial processes.
Wall Ride is the flagship piece of the studio, produced and shipped worldwide since 2014. It brings skate culture into interior design without compromising on the graphic of the deck.
Materials
The wall mounted skateboard rack is crafted in Italy from precision cut metal, engineered so the wheels never touch the wall. The full graphic of the deck stays visible when the board is docked.
Three hooks and two integrated shelves turn the rack into a versatile everyday organiser for keys, caps, wallets or small accessories, useful even for those who do not own a skateboard yet. The same slot that receives the deck also works as a discreet bottle opener, a signature Zanocchi & Starke detail.
