Used in competition by a number of racing car drivers, including Rita Rampinelli, Heinz Schiller, and Jo Siffert, this rare 1956 Porsche 550 Spyder was discovered in a barn in Switzerland after sitting there for three decades.
It was upgraded at some point to help it stay competitive, receiving a Porsche RS60 body and a new factory engine.
Although it undoubtedly has signs of aging—after all, it was discovered in a barn—its distinguished history makes it an excellent choice for thorough repair.
Porsche produced just 90 550 Spyders, making each one valuable. This is one of the greatest.
