This handcrafted, artisanal design is the result of four years' worth of work in research, development, and manufacturing. This handmade artwork was later recorded using a variety of processes, allowing "After the Race" to create this limited-edition series of automotive art.

There will only be 12 pieces total in the series, and they are all uniquely made, so no two will ever be the same. The owners who are looking for the pinnacle of workmanship and art are the target audience for this series. The bodywork is fully handmade, according to the 1970s' production techniques, rather than using computer scans or CAD files.

A frame composed of aluminum tubes is fitted to the body to strengthen the entire structure. The welding is also done to a very high standard and in accordance with the methods used in the 1970s.

917 ATR is the height of automotive art and is distinctive and extremely rare. Despite having the identical physical form, each 917 ATR is unique.
