ARSHAM UNVEILS RWB PORSCHE COLLABORATION WITH AKIRA NAKAI
Artist Daniel Arsham and legendary tuner Akira Nakai of Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) have unveiled the RWBA, a one-off wide-body Porsche 911 that doubles as a piece of contemporary art. Built on the air-cooled 964 generation, it is the first-ever slantnose RWB 964, finished in white with an Arsham Green interior and steeped in the culture of Japanese street racing. The result fuses Nakai's hand-built widebody craft with Arsham's distinctive artistic vision.

Who is Akira Nakai and what is RWB?
Akira Nakai is the founder of Rauh-Welt Begriff, the Japanese workshop famous for transforming air-cooled Porsche 911s into dramatic wide-body machines. Each RWB car is hand-built to order for individual collectors, defined by sleek lines, an aggressive wide stance and Nakai's signature on-site fitment. For this project, named RWBA with the "A" standing for Arsham, the team took the 964 version of the 911 and turned it into a rolling masterpiece. As Hypebeast reported at the unveiling, this is one of the most talked-about RWB builds to date.

The design inspiration behind the Akira Nakai Porsche RWBA
While the bodywork steals the spotlight, details of any changes under the hood remain undisclosed. Arsham has said the design drew from the rich tradition of Japanese street racing, particularly the iconic Midnight Club, as well as automotive manga such as Wangan Midnight. The unveiling event featured original manga illustrations by Kia Asamiya, reinforcing the build's deep cultural roots. According to autoevolution, the RWBA is the first slantnose Porsche 964 ever produced by RWB.

Color, capsule and standout details
The RWBA wears a predominantly white exterior, complemented by an Arsham Green Pantone interior that echoes Arsham's personal branding. To commemorate the release, the artist worked with 2G Japan on a limited capsule collection. Standout features of the car include striking deep-dish rear wheels and an imposing rear spoiler with a massive air intake, hallmarks of the most extreme RWB builds.
