ART SPEAKERS: INDUSTRIAL ROBOT DESIGNS WITH HIGH-QUALITY SOUND - TheArsenale

Speaker sculptor Shunsuke Kawasaki has created a series of art speakers that double as sound systems. The robotic speakers are made from a range of materials, including aluminum, plastic, acrylic, and wood, and are designed to hold their own as works of art.

Each type of speaker is limited to just five units, and Kawasaki is set to showcase them at an upcoming exhibition called ‘The Shape of Frequency – Speakers by Shunsuke Kawasaki’ at the Somewhere Tokyo gallery in April 2023. Kawasaki's designs are playful and unique, and each speaker resembles a tiny industrial robot.

Despite their playful designs, Kawasaki has also focused on the quality of the sound produced by his art speakers. He designed each speaker to have an equally audible sound 360 degrees, and they can be played wirelessly via Bluetooth or wired.

Up close, it's clear that Kawasaki sculpts each speaker with attention to detail and sound quality in mind. With their unique designs and high-quality sound, these art speakers are sure to appeal to audiophiles and art enthusiasts alike.
