Audi E-Tron GT Concept

Audi E-Tron GT Concept - TheArsenale

The German manufacturer Audi has unveiled the e-Tron Concept GT, this time at the Los Angeles Show. The e-Tron GT is using electric power from the same drivetrain and battery platform. The Audi e-Tron GT will be able to produce a total power of 590 horses that will help this car reach 62 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds. All this power is provided by a motor in the front and one in the back. The e-Tron is a fast charging beast: she has a 90-kWh battery, placed between the axels, which supports 800-volt charging. That allows the car to charge up to the 80% in just 20 minutes.

As for the interior Audi claims that eco-friendly materials will be used such as synthetic leather, microfiber headlining, and foot carpets made out of recycled fishing nets. The e-Tron GT is still a concept but is expected to hit the road by the end of next year or early 2021 and it will be presented together with 2 other versions which are expected to be a SUV and a Sportback crossover. Audi plans to add 12 all-electric models until 2025 so we are waiting for the Ingolstadt company to come up with something new at literally every major auto show if they want to achieve this ambitious goal.
