BMW M4 GT3 EVO REPRESENTS THE EVOLUTION OF RACING EXCELLENCE

BMW M4 GT3 EVO REPRESENTS THE EVOLUTION OF RACING EXCELLENCE - TheArsenale

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO is BMW M Motorsport's most capable customer racing car to date, an evolution of the championship-winning M4 GT3 built around drivability, efficiency and reliability rather than raw power alone. Developed in close dialogue with teams and drivers, it carries the P58 3.0-liter straight-six M TwinPower Turbo engine producing up to 590 horsepower, sharper aerodynamics and revised running gear, all aimed at consistent performance across the rigours of a full GT racing season.

What is the BMW M4 GT3 EVO?

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO is the upgraded version of BMW's flagship GT3 race car, unveiled before the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring and set to compete from the 2025 season. According to BMW M Motorsport, the focus of the project was not pure speed but areas that win endurance races: drivability, efficiency and reliability under sustained load. The result is a customer car engineered to be faster over a stint, kinder on its tyres and brakes, and easier for teams to dial in across changing conditions.

What engine and gearbox does the M4 GT3 EVO use?

Under the bodywork sits the formidable P58 3.0-liter straight-six with M TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering up to 590 horsepower, with output adjustable to suit each racing series and its balance-of-performance regulations. Power runs through an advanced X-Trac six-speed gearbox with an electro-hydraulic clutch, giving seamless, robust shifts in high-intensity racing. The braking package is equally serious: 390mm discs with six-piston calipers at the front and 380mm discs with four-piston calipers at the rear. Upgraded anti-roll bars, larger rear brake discs and a finer, more easily adjustable differential work together to cut tyre and brake wear, keeping lap times consistent over long runs.

BMW M4 GT3 EVO specs, aero and price

Among the BMW M4 GT3 EVO specs, the aerodynamic revisions stand out: an adjusted rear wing and larger air outlets improve airflow and high-speed stability, while new LCI-designed headlights front and rear sharpen visibility for night racing. The striking "Inception" livery in asymmetric M colours completes the look. Priced at 578,000 euros net, the M4 GT3 EVO is a significant investment, but one that buys a turnkey, championship-proven platform engineered to dominate tracks worldwide and set a new benchmark for BMW's racing pedigree.
