Despite being from the same manufacturer as the DMC-12 from Back to the Future, the DeLorean Omega 2040 Concept is an off-road vehicle rather than a time machine. It basically deviates from conventional automobile design and appears to be something out of a science fiction film.

Gullwing doors, LED-equipped body panels, enormous wheels and tires that are merged into one, high ground clearance, and other features ensure that it can handle any terrain.

We most certainly wouldn't be shocked to see a DeLorean Omega 2040 Concept that can go into the past or future in any Back to the Future sequel.

Omega signifies a celebration of mobility and driving. It represents the next generation of DeLorean’s design philosophy. This concept vehicle was designed with roots in Baja-themed off-road racing,” said the company.
