ELEGANCE AT SEA: AZIMUT’S 38M GRANDE TRIDECK AND ITS CUTTING-EDGE INTERIORS
The Azimut Grande 38m Trideck is a landmark superyacht that redefines luxury interiors at sea, with spaces designed by Milanese studio m2atelier under their signature "barefoot luxury" philosophy. Rather than traditional nautical opulence, the Grande Trideck delivers a warm, pared-back aesthetic grounded in texture, natural light, and architectural precision. The main salon echoes the atmosphere of a refined contemporary residence, with masterful joinery, a neutral beige palette, and the centrepiece Revealing Wall: a pleated Alcantara panel that conceals the yacht's audio-visual system and keeps focus on the ocean beyond.

What Is the Azimut Grande Trideck?
Measuring 38.22 metres, the Grande Trideck is the flagship of the Azimut/Benetti Group, combining exterior lines by Alberto Mancini Yacht Design with an interior programme conceived entirely by m2atelier. The yacht made its public debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival and had already attracted seven confirmed orders before the reveal, demonstrating the market's appetite for a new approach to superyacht living.
Invisible doors allow spaces to transform effortlessly between open layouts and private compartments, while hidden lighting elements reinforce the architectural precision. The owner's accommodation features custom furniture, including a chaise longue positioned directly beside panoramic windows, blurring the line between interior and ocean view.

How m2atelier Redefined the Superyacht Interior
Marco Bonelli, co-founder of m2atelier, describes light as "architecture itself" on the Grande Trideck: expansive windows on the upper decks flood the spaces with natural light, emphasising material texture and adding emotional depth to every room. The design language uses clean horizontal and vertical geometry to expand the perceived volume of each space, with diagonal elements introduced selectively to create intimate pockets within open-plan layouts.
Sustainable and circular thinking is woven throughout: recycled and responsibly sourced materials appear at every turn, from wall treatments to upholstery. The studio's cross-disciplinary background spanning residential, aviation, and nautical design is evident in every detail, and the Grande Trideck marks the first of three Azimut yachts to feature m2atelier interiors.

Outdoor Living: Sky Lounge, Beach Club, and Foredeck Pool
The outdoor spaces on the Grande Trideck are as considered as the interiors. A Sky Lounge converts between a shaded relaxation deck and an al fresco dining area, while a private patio and a beach club at sea level connect guests directly to the water. The foredeck houses a recessed pool, creating a serene focal point at the bow. Together, these spaces extend the yacht's living areas seamlessly outward, embodying the barefoot luxury ethos in its purest form.
