EV1000 by Katalis x TheArsenale

EV1000 by Katalis x TheArsenale - TheArsenale

The EV1000 by Katalis x TheArsenale is an exclusive co-designed electric motorcycle built from the DNA of Katalis's EV500 and reworked to carry TheArsenale's visual identity: matte black bodywork, riveted aluminium panels, and orange striping that gives it the profile of a stealth jet fighter reborn as a city commuter.

A Collaboration Born in a Gallery

The partnership started when TheArsenale founder Patrice Meignan sought to display the Katalis EV500 in the store. Rather than simply stock the existing model, both teams decided to go further and develop an entirely new version built around TheArsenale's design codes. The result is a 1/1 edition, a single machine that exists nowhere else. Its launch took place at TheArsenale's flagship store in the City of Dreams, Macau.

Specifications and Performance

The EV1000 is powered by a 1,000 W brushless hub electric motor paired with a 48 V, 45 Ah lithium battery. A 48 to 72 V controller enables a top speed of 80 km/h and a riding range of up to 90 km. Those numbers place it squarely in the urban sweet spot: fast enough for city traffic, with enough range to cover an entire day of errands without recharging. The compact dimensions and nimble handling reinforce the machine's role as a premium city-runner rather than a highway cruiser.

The design draws direct inspiration from WWII fighter aircraft: the low-slung stance, the dark aluminium panelling, and the purposeful proportions all point to aeronautical heritage rather than conventional motorcycle styling. Katalis, the Jakarta-based design studio behind the concept, has developed a distinct visual language around electric urban mobility, and the TheArsenale edition takes that language to its logical extreme.
