Nikolai Budarin's Omega Speedmaster

Nikolai Budarin's Omega Speedmaster - TheArsenale

The Omega Speedmaster is often referenced as the "Moonwatch" because of its use in lunar missions. A very tiny fraction of these watches has actually seen outer space. This particular Speedmaster was worn by Russian Cosmonaut Nikolai Budarin in three different Extravehicular Activities during the joint mission between the US and Russia, STS-71/TM-21. The watch features the classic look of the Speedmaster, a stainless steel body, black tach bezel and the black dial with three sub-dials. This watch has spent 14 hours in the vacuum of open space. It comes with its original Omega black leather band as well. For the future lucky owner of this watch, Mr. Budarin has signed a letter of provenance that was stamped on the Mir Space Station.
