Porsche and artist Daniel Arsham have teamed up to create a purple-coated, retro-futuristic concept car called the Nebula 928. The design is inspired by the early 2000s and features a re-designed exterior by famed vehicle designer Khyzyl Saleem, who incorporated metaball-inspired surfaces and elements from the Porsche 996.
The interior of the car is decked out in purple leather and Ultrasuede, with unique woven material on the seats courtesy of Byborre. The concept's custom steering wheel, console, vents, and speakers are finished in brushed aluminum. Arsham's portfolio and focus on time travel make the Nebula 928 a tribute to both the future and Y2K-inspired design.
The collaboration between Porsche and Arsham demonstrates their ongoing relationship and commitment to innovative design. The concept car is a stunning example of creative collaboration, combining the expertise of the artist, the designer, and the car manufacturer to create a truly unique and striking vehicle.
