THE FORDZILLA HYPERVAN - A FIRST LOOK

THE FORDZILLA HYPERVAN - A FIRST LOOK - TheArsenale

The Fordzilla Hypervan is a futuristic dune buggy concept created by automotive design student Keyu Deng, blending cutting edge technology and art into a single road ready four wheeler. With its reptilian inspired styling, matte black finish and dramatic glass gullwing doors, this Hypervan concept reads like a Godzilla inspired vision of the off-road buggy reimagined for the city and the track.

What is the Fordzilla Hypervan?

Keyu Deng, a student of automotive design fascinated by how cutting edge technology and art can integrate into future transportation, created the Fordzilla Hypervan as a concept for a modernized dune buggy. It takes its general design cues from reptilians, and its matte black hue is an obvious indication of Godzilla's impact on the design. The result is a Hypervan that mixes off-road attitude with racing and city commuter aesthetics.

What inspired the Hypervan design?

You are not the only one who noticed the classic Batmobile influence. The use of matte orange accents inside and out emphasizes the ride's angular personality. Its roots as a rear wheel drive vehicle are shown by the battery mounted at the back, which gives the Hypervan superior balance and handling.

What makes the Hypervan doors special?

The Hypervan has gull-winged, all glass doors that are genuinely stunning. These doors are an extension of the panoramic glass top and windshield, giving the four wheeler a real sense of openness. It is exactly the kind of bold, imaginative concept that makes the Hypervan stand out among modern design studies.
