Why are the Gullwing doors a big deal?
Interestingly, it was Supercar Blondie who suggested and initiated the Gullwing doors transformation for the original Ares S1, providing a more sensational image and driving experience. Ares Modena has taken this idea a step further, now offering the Gullwing doors as an optional feature for the S1 Coupe. To illustrate the exclusivity of this feature, Ares presents a limited edition of the Ares S1 Gullwing First Edition, available in only 20 units. As Motor Authority notes, the gullwing setup replaces the original coupe's butterfly doors. Pricing specifics for the Gullwing door option and the First Edition aren't detailed, however the original Ares S1 was introduced at around $650,000 (approximately 500,000 euros).
