What Is the Triumph Rocket TFC?
The Rocket TFC is the most extreme expression of Triumph's biggest platform, developed under the TFC banner as a limited-edition series designed to create the most desirable Triumphs ever made. Where the standard Rocket III was already a muscular and commanding machine, the TFC takes every element and amplifies it: more power, more presence, more precision, and a production run so limited that ownership is a genuine statement. With only 750 units built globally, the Rocket TFC is as much a collector's object as it is a motorcycle.
The 2,500cc Triple: World's Largest Production Engine
At the heart of the Rocket TFC sits an all-new 2,500cc three-cylinder engine, the largest displacement powerplant ever installed in a production motorcycle. It produces 182 PS and 225 Nm of peak torque, figures that make even large-capacity V-twins look modest by comparison. The engine acts as a structural element in the new aluminium frame, serving as a stressed member to reduce overall weight while contributing rigidity. Despite its immense size, Triumph achieved a 14 percent weight reduction compared to its predecessor through extensive use of aluminium throughout the chassis and bodywork, a saving of 44.5 kg.
Chassis, Suspension and Brakes
The Rocket TFC's engineering specification reads like a parts list from the most demanding superbike: Showa supplies a 47mm inverted fork and a rear monoshock with piggyback reservoir for the suspension. Brembo contributes its M4.30 Stylema four-piston radial monoblock calipers for the brakes, the same hardware found on championship-grade sports bikes. A new single-sided aluminium swingarm completes the package visually and structurally. The combination of these premium components with the largest production motorcycle engine available results in a machine with no real equivalent in the market.
