NEMO SUBMARINE

The NEMO submarine is a compact 2-seat personal submersible built by U-Boat Worx, the lightest submarine ever created at around 2,500 kg, with a 100 m depth capability and a footprint smaller than two jet skis.

The Design

U-Boat Worx submarines are without peer in every aspect of underwater exploration. Since its inception, the Dutch builder has defined the standards for exceptional submersibles: each craft is handcrafted and overseen by in-house experts to ensure every detail is perfect. NEMO carries that DNA into a small, storage-friendly package. Its low silhouette lets it rest on a flat surface without extra accessories, a single lifting point on top makes transport straightforward, and its weight is low enough that the sub can even be towed behind a car.

On the Water

Developed with professional submarine divers using cutting-edge technology, the NEMO reaches 100 m (330 ft) underwater with 8 hours of operational autonomy and a 3-knot cruise. Controlling it has never been easier: thanks to the cutting-edge MANTA Controller, the passenger can take supervised control of the submarine, turning any dive into a shared piloting experience. Underwater exploration has come a long way, and NEMO makes it accessible without giving up any of U-Boat Worx's build quality.
