Titán by Tamarit Motorcycles

The Titan by Tamarit Motorcycles is a bespoke custom Triumph Thruxton 900 built by Spanish workshop Tamarit as a personal commission for a unique occasion: a wedding gift from bride to groom, demanding a complete transformation of a 2006 Thruxton into a machine that reflects the rider's character through a ground-up rebuild covering frame, seat, suspension, and finish.

The Concept

Tamarit Motorcycles approaches every project with a defined goal. For the Titan, the brief was both personal and precise: the client wanted to replace a stock motorcycle with a custom-modified classic tailored specifically to her partner's riding preferences and aesthetic sensibility. A 2006 Triumph Thruxton 900 was selected as the base for its proportions and platform potential. Every element, from the paint color to the turn indicators, was reconsidered. The result carries the name Titan and represents one of the more emotionally charged commissions in Tamarit's catalog.

What Makes It

The seat was built entirely from scratch, making it unique to this project. The front fender and valve covers were fabricated in stainless steel. Tamarit's own components appear throughout: the Dalua side covers, the leather bag and bracket, the headlight grill, and the Son Belly Pan 2.0 are all workshop-specific parts that give the build a consistent internal design language. The Boludos exhaust system for the Thruxton was chosen for its tonal character and visual line. The lower frame was cut and reshaped according to the client's specification, altering the silhouette of the stock Thruxton into a more aggressive, lower profile.

The Build

The Ohlins Black Line suspension system is the centerpiece of the mechanical upgrade, providing a substantial improvement in chassis dynamics over the stock units. Alongside it, the complete Motogadget package was installed: switchboard, LED turn indicators, speedometers, and ECU, giving the Titan a clean, modern electrical architecture beneath its classic exterior. Grips are Biltwell. Tires are AVON, chosen for their classic tread pattern and performance on the 900cc parallel-twin platform. Paint and design work were completed in-house at Tamarit.
