In an unfortunate event on May 1st, 1994; the motorsport world lost one of its most prominent icons; Ayrton Senna. The accident happened on the 1994 San Marino GP at the "Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari" where his car hit the side wall at a speed of 233 km/h at the Tamburello corner. The accident left the whole world mourning and the Brazilian government declared a three day mourning. This iconic driver remains one of the most prominent figures in motorsports and is claimed to be quite possibly the best driver to ever hit the tarmac of F1 tracks.
