The Acura Performance EV Concept made its world debut at Monterey Car Week 2024, offering the clearest signal yet of where the Japanese luxury brand is heading with electrification. Platform and Production: Honda's New EV Architecture
Unlike the 2024 Acura ZDX, which relied on General Motors' Ultium platform and battery technology, the Performance EV Concept is engineered on a fully proprietary Honda EV architecture. This new platform is flexible enough to underpin vehicles across multiple segments, with the first production cars targeting mid-to-large SUV proportions. Honda has stated a target range of 300 miles or more and an in-house developed operating system, meaning the software stack will be Acura's own rather than a third-party solution.

Performance Stance: 23-Inch Wheels and High-Performance Brakes
The proportions of the Acura Performance EV Concept communicate performance before you read a single specification.
