However, instead of using an exceedingly rare and costly original 904 chassis, Aerfal builds the Æ94 on the more accessible underpinnings of the Porsche 914 — ensuring this homage is financially sustainable while respecting the original's rarity.
The Æ94 isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a technical masterpiece designed with purpose and precision. Aerfal teamed up with legendary Porsche engineers and sought contributions from industry heavyweights like BBS for wheels, Brembo for brakes, and Bilstein for suspension. At its heart, the Æ94 uses a modernized air-cooled eight-cylinder engine—developed in partnership with one of the UK’s top engine builders—providing a nod to the 904 Spyder race cars that utilized eight-cylinder powerplants.
