The vehicle showcases an aesthetic that appears more futuristic than what is typically seen in science fiction films, with sharp, streamlined, and bold contours. The DarkRebel's distinctive look is further enhanced by its two-door shooting brake architecture and triangular features in its side profile.

To emphasize the communicative nature of design, CUPRA has created the Hyper Configurator, a tool that enables fans to give feedback and influence the DarkRebel's appearance. This tool encourages fans to challenge the concept and potentially affect the physical version of the car's appearance when it releases in the future.

CUPRA aims to establish itself as a dynamic and exciting brand with the DarkRebel's bold design. The company accentuates this design with three different environments that fans can experience through the Exponential cube, the Exponential Infinite, and the Exponential Tech. The most fitting way to experience the DarkRebel is in the Exponential cube, where the car radiates neon glow, highlighting its futuristic lines and vivifying each detail.
