Designed by Cumpert Contraptions, this custom BMW build is a unique and captivating creation that stands out with its retro punk aesthetic. Instead of the traditional two wheels, this one-of-a-kind machine sits on three wheels, which adds to its quirky charm.
The base for this project was a 1992 BMW R100R Mystic, which Tim Cumpert acquired for his experimental build. He cut off the front and replaced it with a chassis from an ATV, and then used that as the foundation to bring his vision to life.
According to Tim, the three-wheeled design was inspired by pre-war racing cars, and he wanted to try his hand at sheet aluminum fabrication.
In an interview with Bike EXIF, he said, “When I started this project back in 2012, Morgan had just released their new 3 Wheeler. But the main drive for this project was that I wanted to try my hand at sheet aluminum fabrication.
