Why the Ducati Monster S4R Is a Challenging Custom Base
The Monster's signature trellis frame and angular bodywork are instantly recognisable, which is exactly what makes customising one so difficult. Any modification risks clashing with the original aesthetic or looking half-finished. The DUC92 Build: What Moto Adonis Changed
The centrepiece of the DUC92 is a custom monocoque section that flows continuously from the fuel tank through the side panels and into the tail unit. The shape draws from the form of a whale, giving the bike an organic quality that contrasts sharply with the aggression of the cage fighter stance.
Up front, the stock forks have been replaced with a flatter unit housing a headlight with a girder-like structural frame. The wheels are Kineo rims, laced to the hubs and finished to match the overall monochrome palette. Performance: A New Heart Under the Skin
Moto Adonis did not stop at aesthetics. The original engine was replaced with a 996-sourced Ducati Desmodromic unit producing 113 hp. That motor feeds into a two-into-one-into-two exhaust system capped with MAD Exhausts muffler tips, giving the DUC92 a sound as aggressive as its looks.
