Project Black S has been developed as a "test bed" for new ideas and technologies. While Infiniti's VR30 3.0- liter twin-turbo V6 produces 400 horsepower, the Project Black S version offers 563, thanks to having three electric motor-generators for a combined output of 563 horses, or enough for 0-60 mph acceleration in under 4.0 seconds. The car is 3915 pounds heavy and compared to the original concept the latest version of the Project Black S has been made lighter. The car has hybrid engine technology and also has a track ready interior carbon fiber backed seats and laser etched leather exposing bright yellow highlights. According to Infiniti, The Project Black S uses three motor generator units which allow the car to generate electrical power during braking and acceleration.

The project Black S is based on the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400. Renault and Infiniti race team modified the powertrain to incorporate a hybrid system that as in an F1 car gets electricity from two sources. The Infiniti Project Black S prototype will make its official debut really soon. Let's hope Infiniti will release more information for this amazing concept.
