The "Slim Chance" is a luxurious and highly functional adventure vehicle, designed by Outside Van with a price tag of $308,000. It is a 2023 model of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 144 wheelbase, able to comfortably seat and sleep two people. This All Wheel Drive (AWD) van is specifically suited to outdoor thrill-seekers, adventurers, and athletes. The purpose-built platform caters to the lifestyles of these individuals who require their transport to be equipped and ready to leave on adventures at a moment's notice. The goal is to evade mundane issues that prevent one from exploring the vastness of the outdoors.
The interior features of the Slim Chance include 3M Thinsulate insulation and sound deadening material for noise reduction, a power system with 945Ah Lithium System, a 2000W Magnum inverter, and an Espar Airtronic diesel furnace for heating, among other commodities. Notable features include a 20-gallon freshwater tank, an exterior shower hookup, a galley kitchen with a refrigerator and induction cooktop, and a sleeping area comprised of Flarespace flares, a Murphy bed, and an accordion folding mattress. Other conveniences comprise an exoskeleton cabinet, a wireless charger surface, overhead cabinetry with a microwave, and a variety of systems for comfort and functionality.
