ROBO X SETS NEW STANDARDS IN ELECTRIC VEHICLE ENGINEERING
The JiYue Robo X is China's most ambitious electric supercar to date: a quad-motor, AI-integrated hypercar capable of reaching 100 km/h in under 1.9 seconds, with a range of over 650 km on a single charge. Unveiled at the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Robo X is the product of a partnership between Baidu, the AI and autonomous driving giant, and Geely, one of China's most globally active automotive groups. Production is planned for 2027, with reservations open at a deposit of RMB 49,999.

Who Makes the Robo X? Baidu, Geely, and the JiYue Brand
JiYue was created when Baidu, best known for its search engine and Apollo autonomous driving platform, pivoted from being a software and AI company into a hardware manufacturer. In partnership with Geely Holding, JiYue launched a range of AI-integrated electric vehicles. The Robo X represents the apex of that programme: a car that is not primarily defined by its horsepower but by the depth of its AI integration. The Robo X won the 2024 Red Dot Design Award and the 2025 German Design Award, recognising both its visual impact and technological ambition.
Performance: Under 1.9 Seconds and 650 km of Range
The Robo X uses a quad-motor, liquid-cooled drive system and a unibody carbon fibre frame reinforced with 5052 aluminium alloy, achieving a kerb weight of 1,850 kg. The combination of lightweight construction and all-wheel electric drive produces 0-100 km/h acceleration in under 1.9 seconds, placing it among the fastest accelerating production cars ever built. The claimed range of over 650 km is exceptional for a car of this performance level, made possible by a careful balance between battery capacity, aerodynamic efficiency, and thermal management of the drive system.

Design: Fighter Jet Cockpit and Eagle-Wing Doors
The Robo X's design draws directly from fighter jet cockpit architecture, featuring a canopy-style greenhouse, eagle-wing doors, and a prominent split rear spoiler that generates meaningful aerodynamic downforce. Air channels route cooling flow past the electric motors, serving both thermal and aerodynamic functions. The overall silhouette is low, wide, and deliberately dramatic, making the Robo X immediately recognisable as a performance statement even before the technical specifications are considered.
AI and Autonomous Driving Integration
What genuinely separates the Robo X from other electric hypercars is the depth of its autonomous and AI-assisted technology. The car runs on Baidu Apollo's pure-vision smart driving system, enabling autonomous operation both on public roads and on racing tracks. The AI-powered cockpit features JiYue's proprietary Simo real-time assistant, which allows the driver to control motor torque distribution, thermal management parameters, and chassis feedback through voice commands. This level of driver-adjustable AI control is unprecedented in a supercar context and reflects the Robo X's ambition to be as intelligent as it is fast.
