Stilride has unveiled the final design of its first electric motorbike, the Stilride 1, which was previously known as the Sport Utility Scooter. The motorbike is set to make its debut in the spring of 2024, with pre-bookings becoming available soon. The company's Stockholm facility will produce each Stilride 1 to order.
Based on the SUS (1) prototype, the Stilride 1 is a functional electric bike that has been designed using sustainable manufacturing materials. Recycled steel sourced from the countryside has been used to create the lightweight frame, which has been crafted using "industrial origami technology" to give it a sleeker appearance than its predecessor.
The Stilride 1 comes with an electric motor that has a maximum speed of 100 km/h and can cover a range of 120 km on a single charge of the 5.1 kWh battery. In addition to this, Stilride has developed an application that monitors the bike's geographical position to protect against theft, provides diagnostics for maintenance purposes, and allows remote checking of the battery's status.
