Finnish Q Yachts now comes with the Q30 Electric Yacht. A tight, quiet iceberg without polluting emissions. The Q30 is powered by an electrical system called Ocean Volt, a silent drive with a 20 kW motor powered by a 30 kWh battery.
The hull is designed so that the boat slides through the water, minimizing water’s friction. No emissions, no noise, a large cabin underneath the main deck and a maximum speed of 30 km/h make the Q30 the perfect tour boat.
Known otherwise as the ‘Tesla of the seas’ Janne Kjellman, the founder of Q-Yachts, has been working “in stealth mode” on first fully electric motorboat project ever for several years. In an interview he released for this boat’s unveiling he said: “We are confident that this is the beginning of something big’’.
The 9.3-meter long boat is offered with two different battery pack options: 30 kWh or 60 kWh. Thanks to her ultra quiet Oceanvolt powertrain and the hydrodynamically optimized hull the boat produces minimal noise resulting in a very special experience.
