The Evoluto 355 is a ground-up re-engineering of the Ferrari F355, designed by Ian Callum's CALLUM Designs studio and built to a production run of just 55 examples starting from approximately 595,000 GBP. Where a standard restomod replaces some components and refreshes the aesthetics, the 355 by Evoluto replaces over 200 parts, revises the entire exterior in carbon fiber, rebuilds the engine to a higher specification and retargets the chassis for 21st-century dynamics. The result is less a modified Ferrari and more a bespoke sports car that happens to use the F355 as its foundation.
The Engine: Naturally Aspirated and Higher Than Standard
The original Ferrari F355 used a 3.5-litre flat-plane V8 producing around 375 hp. Evoluto's re-engineered version is available in two configurations: a 3.5-litre producing 380 hp with an 8,500 rpm redline, or a 3.7-litre producing 420 hp with a 9,000 rpm ceiling. Both use the naturally aspirated architecture that makes the F355 so beloved among driving purists. Carbon bracing and carbon fiber body panels target a finished weight of 1,250 kg, which is 100 kg lighter than the original. That combination of more power and less weight delivers a 23% improvement in torsional rigidity alongside handling that significantly exceeds what the donor car was capable of.

The CALLUM Design Language
Ian Callum led Jaguar's design department for over 20 years, producing the F-Type, XE and I-Pace among others. His approach to the 355 by Evoluto is surgical rather than transformational: the proportions of the F355 are preserved, but every exterior panel has been replaced with subtly flared carbon fiber. Rear vents that recall the Ferrari 288 GTO were added. Forged 19-inch wheels replace the originals. LED lighting modernises the lighting signature without jarring against the classic silhouette. Inside, a six-speed open-gate manual gearbox with a machined metal shift knob ensures the driving experience stays analogue, while Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with three-way adjustable dampers give the chassis a thoroughly modern foundation. Each car is individually commissioned, with bespoke paint choices, interior materials and specification decisions made in collaboration with the buyer.

Commissioning and Availability
The application process begins at evolutoautomobili.com, where prospective buyers submit basic details and a preferred delivery location. Deliveries are open to the UK, USA, Canada, South America, Europe and Asia. All 55 commissions are reported as accounted for, with first customer deliveries scheduled for Q4 2026. This exclusivity places the 355 by Evoluto in the same conversation as other bespoke coachbuilt machines available through TheArsenale, including the Project M Ferrari 308 GTS restomod and the Nardone 928 Porsche restomod. Both represent the same philosophy: donor car heritage preserved, performance and quality elevated through bespoke engineering.
